FLX.AX , 7.740, +2.300, +42.280%) yet, a company official said.
"We have been approached by intermediaries but we are just reaching a preliminary understanding and there have been no formal talks yet," an company official told Reuters on Friday.
Trading in Yanzhou Coal was suspended on Friday morning.
