The ABC is cutting the show hosted by activist Yassmin Abdel-Magied.
Australia Wide, which Abdel-Magied has hosted since last year,will be axed within weeks as part of a restructure which will see losses of up to 200 jobs by the national broadcaster.
The move comes after Abdel-Magied’s controversial Anzac Day Facebook post which garnered sizeable backlash.
The ABC stood by their part-time presenter in the wake of public furore over the post.
