You misunderstand my position. Sure stick up for your beliefs - I myself thought it was a stupid and thoughtless comment - but to let it consume you for months, and for people to act in a way which we wouldn't accept under other conditions, that there illustrates underlying issues. Frankly it was a two day issue nothing more, and if she really didn't mean what she said in her apology, firstly how do you know (isn't it possible that you are projecting) and secondly why do you care what people like her think particularly when so many people opposed her views?
