I went to this event ... anyone else?
presentation from Mary of MixMarvel - excellent. (kerfuffle getting the it sorted for the presentation on screen ... pretty unimpressive from hosts ... but moving on, Mary andJade (MixMarvel) formidable, joined by Chris of Virtual Reality Studios and Yat certainly fit the bill as the brightest minds in blockchain gaming. SA guy from EOS, so succinctly explained the future of NFTs in a way that I can relay ... as a complete novice with close to zero technical knowledge of blockchain gaming but an enthusiastic appreciation for its potential ... to people who know me and think I'm going nuts with my excitement level for AB1 and peers. He gave the example of universal studios and Sony doing s deal where the characters are NFTs and they do contacts for their characters to appear in the same movie, also, you own a wicked sword in a game (or maybe a race car NFT) but you don't game 24/7 so you lease it out when you're not using it. explained like that, simplified blockchain "gaming"/life in a heartbeat.
very pleased I went, though frankly, so much of it went over my head.
positive: came away confirming my belief that blockchain is here to stay and we'll all be using it in one form or another as compliantly as we do email within the next decade.
negative: blockchain gaming is way more on its infancy than I thought. it seemed to me that these "brightest minds" still have way more questions than they do answers.
That said... I'm backing them!
Really feel my money in AB1 (a significant investment for me) is in good hands.
And, I'll be selling my shares in the host company at the first available opportunity.
