Dow theory is not absolute it is merely a deduction based on historical events. It's an art not a science (in my honest opinion).

But, I have to admit a lot can be discovered through T/A - however buy/holders and investors who invest long term based on fundamentals should pay very minimal attention to the charts.

Now, in regards to the chart - the momentum in the uptrend has slowed down. We have no seen to many declining days since the end of July.
