Fact is, no company wants to raise at the SP lows. This tells us a few things...
They are very very broke (spent on what tangibly who knows)
They see little revenue in the near future.
They are very desperate.
It's Xmas and that little bit on the side some will get out of this would come in very handy.
Hush existing holders, please hope the new "investors" don't have an internet connection.
