A couple of other obvious positives apart from POG -

Access to the pit floor is now possible. As discussed on these posts, it was just a matter of time to sufficiently draw down on the localised ground water table. (Refer this morning's ann.)

Also in that ann: 2012/13 guidance remains unchanged; and, the plant has on occassion operated at or above nameplate capacity.

Lastly, if DENR boss Paje is to be believed then the pending policy overhaul shouldn't have too much negative affect on existing operators. However, then members of the Aquino administration have a habit of changing their minds more often than their mistresses. But currently, optimism prevails.
