The feeling in Alice is 'hopeful' after we missed out on the NT Pipeline which went to TC & MT Isa, we're hoping TNG will get the finance as it will provide a sorely needed boost to Central Australia. We have the infrastructure and logistical support on hand and we are only 2ookm south of Ti-Tree (down a highway with open speed limits I might add). Giles electorate is also in Alice so one would think it would be in his best interest to push for some kind of economical development for the town? It is an election year after all for the NT...
