what year did the internet get going?
just a thought after reading the other day about how long it used to take the peoples knowledge to doubleand looking at the chart on this thread. Can't remember where it was that I read or vouch for it's accuracy but it started off as 100 years for the knowledge base to double and down to about 2 years or less now.
Just maybe many more have had the opportunity to learn a little bit (and a little bit of knowledge can be a disadvantage in life) and decided that investing/trading/gambling call it as you see fit on the stock markets is how they were going to make their fortunes.
May have nothing at all to do with this just a wondering thought.
