Milli, I have not been looking at Glencore since I don't have easy access to their charts and have no interest to get exposure. The SP has been trending down for a while reflective of their commodity exposure. Do you expect the spreads of the CDS not to widen? FMG and STO are in similar circumstances and look at their SP.
I have no reason to start looking at exposure to this sector but BHP/RIO would be 2 that will be high on my list. Maybe I am waiting for that CR to take place first!
Other "babies" that were thrown out include health care, Telco and utilites sectors that should be 'fear' proof to a certain extent. Surely those sectors are worth investigating?
Now that investors know the effects of multiple QE, the fear of a complete melt down is lightened. The natural tendency to question what time bombs are ticking along with the ZIRP? There will be more boom and bust which is guaranteed.
