The rumour is that MQG will inject some equity into the balance sheet.

If they do, that will give the business a life line.

I always thought the boys at MacBank were too smart to take on an equity position in such a dud business. Anyone doing DD can see the business is taking on water big time. Why not announce the deal, see how it pans out over 12 months, and then invest in 12 months at half the current price.

I await the details before opening a short.

Have made some calls, but at the moment no one knows the specifics.
