Thats the trouble. Serious contenders do not enter politics and it has nothing to do with the remuneration BS purported by Howard.

The truth is no-one serious bothers to enter politics because the market is corrupted by the elite. The elite simply manipulated the supply side so the voters have a choice between what they perceive as the lesser of two evils come ballot time. The fact the choice is only between two sides and  and third parties in coalition usually do not run against each other highlights how corrupt the system is!!!

The "none of the above" option is easy to understand. Every one votes "none of the above" until they pick someone they want. So Morison and Shorten get ignored unless they change or replacements come in. Same with Labor, the Liberals and the Nationals and any other party!!! A fragmented set-up creates less centralisation of power reducing the grip of the elite making it harder for them to control and influence via the media etc... A fragmented set-up also fosters a lot more debate and interaction with people of different viewpoints to reach a consensus which has no part in current bi-partisans parliament!! More debate and interaction opens up peoples perception and fosters growth through knowledge allowing greater improvement through improved decision making in the interests of the constituency!!! More information becomes known as we'll as it is no longer blocked by central control faceless people so more informed decisions can be made for the citizens benefit!!!
