re: yellow4 response In my experience, and I'd be glad to have anyone cite counter-examples, is that when a development well hits water, then thats all you're goanna get.
And Yellowbank-1 was the wildcat. Wells -2, -3 and -4 are all development/appraisal wells, and they can talk all they like about the oil in the ground, but so far, they havent got it out.
If they are going to re-enter, re-complete, frac, acid treat, or do horizontal drilling, then great, tell us the story.
But right now y'all Yellowbank-4 is a water well, and if anyone can tell me of a water well that became an oil well, I'd be glad to hear.
Sure, most every oil well turns into a water well sooner or later, but the other way around, now thats right unusual.
