If you're still holding or haven't covered yet, there may be a glimmer of hope for you to emerge unscathed.
In my experience with this stock, I have seen a number of times when it goes into pre-open pending an announcement, and where on trading re-commencement, it opens quite a bit lower than where it was prior to pre-open (and there is nothing -ve in the announcement), and then rises and exceeds quite rapidly. I put it down to the instos enticing more buyers into their re-weighting.
Not saying this WILL happen, but is possible, and of course should be judged in conjunction with the announcement. The last time I saw this was the beginning of Sept 05. Went into pre-open at around 2.72 and re-opened at around 2.53, three days later was 2.80.
