    Operator, Oil Search (Yemen) Limited advises that the Al Ahkaf-1 exploration well in onshore Block 35, Yemen was this morning drilling ahead at 1735m. The first predicted target level (the Qishn sandstone) has been penetrated without evidence of any reservoir development or shows of hydrocarbons.
