It sounds like a totally hopeless situation for Petsec. These corrupt officials are entrenched and it appears nothing will move them. We'd be better off with the Southern separatists assuming power but then how long after that before we are granted the required licences. Probably long after our money runs out. Can't really see any hope. Even if we were to sell our leases to these corrupt officials, it's unlikely that the proceeds would repay the secured Singaporean investor. Our US assets have little real value either.
Probably time to admit defeat here if you were being totally realistic.
