To describe in as little words as possible my thoughts on Yemen , I would say ... "What A Mess"
This country has so much potential to "stand tall" with many of its neighbours and yet it continues to have a deep-seeded dysfunctional resentment to its fellow countrymen that draws them into hostile actions where it seems that bloodshed and martyrdom are considered the only solution.
Let's hope the up and coming ceasefire (commencing midnight 10th April 2016) and the subsequent peace talks (scheduled to commence 18th April 2016) will bring a lasting peace so that all the Yemeni people can feel good about their home , their lives and where they live.
I don't presume to have the answers to their issues but I hope the peace talks will clarify what's needed and the parties agree on an action plan to "fix" what's "broken" without war ...
Once this path is set ... business and commercial endeavours can start again and everyone will be better off ....
