yeh I am currently doing it. been offshore for a few years now.
no tax, no cgt, buying a house in the italian countryside at the moment. wife and I save more than a full wage each year - and have a house keeper and full time driver and live in a ridiculous house.
will not live or work in australia again. nice to visit though!
that's the key to a good life, with no financial worries.
