all this just seems to reinforce my general view about things,especially what lookandsee was trying to emphasize recently. the US is basically running on empty.they are in so much debt with europe not that far behind,all we have left is china,india and the asiatic region to basically save our "bacon".these vast populations crave for western living standards,and the standard of their export products are getting so good , they will end up being the dominant player in a few years.that all adds up to huge demand on commodities.now personally,i am not that keen on our aussie economy to be totally reliant turning ausland into a massive quarry,but then again,i don"t think we have a choice.
