What’s happening here is a continuous disaster that was created by Jeff Kennett - Liberal party of Australia when he pushed the entire liberal party philosophically over the power privatisation cliff

since then business runs power
The transition process will be a total mess- as was John Howard’s nuclear ban, as is privatisation
the lights WILL GO OUT
why? because power generation should never have been turned over to business
ATM - the Liberals are in panic and want to grab back the power generation- by getting someone else to overturn the ban on nuclear that they put on themselves and they want someone else in government to fund god knows probably about 1 trillion to go nuclear to fix the total power disaster that’s been coming for decades.
Before anyone chokes on the 1 trillion - that will be the all up
because you don’t just get to pay billions for magic nukes from the magic nuke tree
before that - you have to commit a monster mammoth education and research fund to gear up the other disaster that has been created - a massive rundown in Ed and research into general research etc in STEM
You can’t just go out and get Paddy and mick from Walkabout Creek to knock up a few nukes
