adm, the FED already buys the majority of the government debt. The FED loans money to commercial banks at virtually 0% interest for the purpose that commercial banks buy the government bonds and make a profit from. I don't care what anyone says, the FED buys most of the government debt via indirect means, but it is still the same, infact it is worse, because the FED ends up creating more money to transfer money to commercial banks in order for them to buy government debt than if they did it directly themselves.

In Australia, you can still get a good rate of interest for example Ubank offers 6.11% even though the RBA rate is much lower. I do think it is one of the better currencies, the government debt is not to0o bad here.
