This is not the case.
In relation to wind BNB primarily takes the development risk and sells the projects to BBW or another operator who take the construction risk (BNB may keep a %).
They make their money through the arranging of debt and equity and skim a development profit for their part in funding the development stage.
BNB are no longer in a position where they can arrange finance for projects at any reasonable level and the banks would rather just get their money for undeveloped projects rather than continue to take development risk which costs big $.
