    Does it? Show me one version of the bible where the verses I quoted say something different and mean something else.

    Your objection doesn't relate to the bible's given description of love...charity is said to be an aspect of love, but the description is not specifically referring to ''the active love of a God for his son and his people which is supposed to be reciprocated to God and his son and each other'' - this being your own addition , your own rationale - rather, it is a general reference as an attribute of love which applies universally.
