Where have we had a "taste of what's to come if the merger fails"? What from TPT firing 2 of their directors? How is that tasting what will happen if the merger fails?

Are you planning on selling any of your shares as obviously the takeover impacts people in different ways. If you are comfy with the extra risk then the conversion price is largely irrelevant to you, but if you had a fair holding in JKA, the risk changes and now you feel that your portfolio is a tad overweight in JKA, would you then sell?

Suppose TPT drops by he rough 20% drop the UK market has and doesn't recover by the time the timetable is up, this would convert at around 8.6c / JKA share, would you sell for CASH at this value?
