The thing about being on the wrong side of history is that you need a bit of history before you know whether it was wrong or right.
Exhibit A is Dutton boycotting the apology to the stolen generation. Ten years later he freely admits that was an error on his behalf.
Anyway, regardless of how people voted, democracy has spoken and we move on.
