yes we are interested in your gas

Today's ann that BG has stitched up a $20bn deal with Tokyo Gas puts paid to the theory that the Japs are not interested in CSG on a calorific basis.

That's good news for us in three ways...

(1) It gives our Japanese partners a significant selling point in selling Newcastle gas to others in the land of the rising sun and
(2) BG needs more gas as they are earnestly hunting down customers for Train 3 and
(3) BG steal a march on the so-called all-glitter, no-guts "Basin Master" who must now feel a stronger need to protect the basin
