After selling (thankful for the REE announcement) late last year I hadn?t looked back on this one as I was picking a message; a pattern in their announcements, couldn?t quite put my finger on it , ?can you? Tonight I return to go through their announcements since and find the same stuff beyond October last year.
30-11-2009
A total of 17 holes were drilled at Curnamona North project before the early onset of extremely hot weather forced the suspension of the program until next year.
(too hot)
16-12-2009
The remaining holes planned in this program will be drilled early next year as soon as weather permits.
(When its not too hot, cold, wet or windy)
or
too close to xmas
5-3-2010
As previously advised, the Company's drilling program at the Curnamona project is scheduled to recommence as soon as weather permits. The Company and drilling contractors are now waiting for ground conditions allow the movement of heavy machinery on the station tracks in the project area following heavy rains of more than 200mm (8 inches) in the project area in mid February.
(Too wet)
The metric imperial conversion - great stuff
21-4-2010
In early March we reported that the planned drilling program in the Curnamona Uranium Project had been delayed due to heavy rains in February. Following additional heavy rain in the project area in March and early April the start of the drilling program has been further delayed. Field visits last week to check access confirmed that most of the project area was still too wet to allow vehicular access. Since then a full week of relatively dry weather in the project area has encouraged us enough to again despatch our field team to check access today. Preliminary information from the station manager suggests the areas of interest are drying out and that track repair and drilling should be able to commence in approximately two weeks provided there are no further rains in the area. The drilling contractor is on standby and will be able to recommence the drilling program as soon as conditions allow. We will keep shareholders updated on the status of the start of the drilling program.
(too muddy - and gentle exposure/?outing? of the company?s Ombrophobia)
29-4-2010
The last quarter has been a frustrating one with the floods in Central Australia impacting our planned field work at both the Curnamona uranium project where drilling was due to commence in March and in the Arunta where our field crew had to abandon work when hit by major rain storms in late March.
(Too lazy)
20-5-2010
Following wet weather delays, the Directors are pleased to confirm that drilling at the Curnamona North uranium project will re-commence next week.
(too good )
28-5-2010
Drilling Recommenced on Curnamona Uranium Project
(too ambitious)
27-7-2010
Drilling was suspended late last week due to rain and local flooding but we expect that it will be able to resume later this week.
(too late ?)
13-9-2010
The decision to close the program (drilling) has been taken in part due to the ongoing delays caused by recent rain and also to enable the Company to evaluate results to date.
and
The Company is party to the large regional Frome Airborne Electro-Magnetic (?AEM?) Survey by way of funding infill flying over an area of 5,142 km? covering our Curnamona South Project. This survey is approximately 40% complete and due to flying delays (some also caused by weather) delivery of results are expected to be delayed to after November this year.
(Too ridiculous)

Rain delays completion of Denison Soil Sampling
Recent rains interrupted the soil sampling program delineating drill targets for uranium and REE mineralisation at the Denison project. Our contractors will complete this sampling as soon as the weather conditions allow. They are monitoring weather and ground conditions on a daily basis through local land owners and will complete sampling as soon as ground conditions permit.
(too bad ?..I?ve found the door)
13-12-2010
Ongoing rainstorms in central Australia are continuing to postpone the soil sampling program in the Denison project.
(getting too close to Xmas ?..again)
15-4-2011
Reconnaissance exploration was undertaken last week to conduct first pass sampling over recently granted properties. Access was restricted due to the heavy rains received in the area over the last 3 months. Some cattle stations visited reported over 60 inches of rainfall in the last 3 months and rain was still falling as late as last week.
(Too hard to comprehend - that they still travelled there with this knowledge)
10-6-2011
Many of the drill hole sites are located proximal to the Lake Frome salt lake system which has received historically high rainfall over the past twelve months and access to these drill sites may be difficult until the region has had time to sufficiently dry. Callabonna staff will be testing access over the next two weeks to ensure the area has dried sufficiently to allow access.
(Too much for me??.. any takers on this last one)
Fair dink how gullible was I to think that they were showing some commitment.
Next announcement from this lot should be straight from G&S
Yes, yes, let's talk about the weather.
How beautifully blue the sky,
The glass is rising very high,
Continue fine I hope it may,
And yet it rained but yesterday.
Tomorrow it may pour again
(I hear the country wants some rain),
Yet people say, I know not why,
That we shall have a warm July.
