Anyone else at least tempted for a yes vote? I think I'm alone on this one.
Know I’m hashing up old news. Interesting that Nick Davies and Mr Scott were themselves part of a board takeover sponsored by Meridian of Buccaneer energy…. around the same time they were thrown off our board (by thrown I mean resigned) the letter that was sent out to shareholders of buccaneer was just about the same letter sent out to us. Must be a website to buy these sorts of letters only accessible to directors of ASX companies. Anyways. Interesting. Not sure how this discussion never came up last year. Or maybe it did and I ignored it.
I’m still likely voting yes. It’s the only way to rid the board and management who seem to have accomplished a nice little drop from over $1 per share to about 0.15 and a record of spending every drop of money ever earned on just about nothing. If a no vote happens, we need a new board – and new management. Yes this deal undervalues us. It hurts. Yes NHC will maybe get our NSW assets for next to nothing. It hurts.
