Johngalt,
Bulldust.
1) No one has been here 65,000 years. The life span of an individual is 100 years maximum. No one knows what was happening 65,000 years ago.
2) Aboriginals can be listened to just like anyone else through their elected representatives . Not to mention the hundreds of specialist organisations. The "voice" requested would have a say on everything from parking tickets to submarines.
3) Every aboriginal run organisation has been a cock up. We need to be able to dismiss it.
4) You don't even know what the "aboriginal population"is, you don't even know what an aboriginal is. Does this 80% include Bruce Pascoe, who counted them. A small % of the population should have no say over the constitution.
Say no to Apartheid.
