No kickoff/sidetrack well wouldnt be far enough away from the first.

They need a new well. teh question is who pays for it, if they can get a couple of gas samples from the top layer, reanalyse the seismic to find a top seal instead of a bottom (the geos must have printed the seismic out upside down - hope they get sacked), maybe they have a case for RDI to pay for the two free carry, but not sure on the terms of that agreement.

If RDI dont pay, as they havent raised the capital that was part of the original deal, then MEO dont have the money for another well, especially if it is the same geo's putting the case together. Sell the block after showing a bunch of geos cant tell a seal almost never at teh bottom of a U. bright spots equals water at the bottom of a U - lesson learnt from me, surely GEO101 teaches this.
