I don't know if CVRD have accumulated on market but a placement was done at .65cents last year in which all shareholders were able to participate with a ceiling of about 5,000 shares.
CVRD/Inco have since taken up shares (placement) like BHP at $1.20 just a few months ago and this latest one at $1.15.

BHP were buying on market at .87 cents only a few weeks ago.
BHP's average price (excluding this latest placement at $1.15) for all its holdings was approximately .50 cents each.
This is based on the initial 15 million+ shares it received from OMG-Group @ .35 cents, plus the $1.20 placement plus their buying on market recently at .87 cents.
