That's drawing a pretty long bow ... the assertion our political class are leaders that is.

I think we all know at least one person in our lives who was actually leadership material and it sure as S wouldn't be a career public servant like we have fronting our govt or the dill before him.

Leaders are out there kicking goals and attracting criticism because of envy at them delivering the goods. Leaders are born that way, not manufactured by party politik, DEI, ESG and print in books. We need those leaders, but they aren't stupid enough to open themselves up to attack of the non starters.
