Still a large number of short sales yesterday. They probably came late in the day to put the SP back in its box.
Today the SP was 58c at 3:57. Why would anyone dump (56.5c) on close other than to ensure yesterday's jump looks like a momentary blip.
In recent times the close price is often on the low side of the buy/sell spread by just one share. 50-60c to manipulate the closing price by 0.5 to 2c.
It will be interesting to watch the short sales and SP over the coming days. I hope demand for shares at this SP level wasn't exhausted during the blip!
