Someone is definitely playing with the share price as I tried to pick up a substantial parcel the other day and as soon as my order went in half a cent down the big seller disappeared. As for today, that almost certainly appeared as though someone was marking the close. It may be worth while someone reporting it to ASIC for a further look.
For me the only explanation for this sort of trading patterns are that someone is trying to push down the price to accumulate a significant stake. If it was someone genuinely offloading a significant stake or front running bad news they wouldn't be withdrawing sell orders when buying scale enters and they certainly wouldn't mark the close with low volume ... They would do the opposite.
