An even better question would be "what weather patterns DO reflect warming" because as far as I am aware there is no argument that we have stacked on an extra 0.7 or 0.8 degrees Celcius since the industrial age started. That may not sound like much, but that is over the entire globe and represents an enormous amount of extra energy in the atmsophere. Energy which goes in to winds, cyclones, evaporation, precipitation and so on.
