    Seeing how the take up of Edencrete in Australia is currently derisible,I penned the following to  local MP;

    First of all,Dan,I congratulate you on getting back into Parliament with an increased majority. Not just because of the  general swing to Labor,I suspect, but also because you are a good local MP who cares for his electorate and an industry which is a majordriver,in my view, of the Hunter economy.

    Now;
    Prime Minister Albanesi is reported to have said in an ABC media article;

    "You can protect the environment while also standing up for jobs and the certainty of the resources sector."

    An ideal policy outlook for Hunter mining, I would suggest.

    How best to do it? Using Edencrete products which have proved themselves in the hardest market in the world to break into-The cement and concrete industry.

    If you use your good offices to encourage Mining executives  to have [a] all diesel engines modified by Optiblend and switched over to Hythane and encourage the use of Edencrete admixes saving cement and enabling greater use of Flyash in concrete - voila! You will have put years on the extension of mining in the Hunter due to the carbon offsets the use of the foregoing Aussie innovations will provide.Not only that, it will save the Mining Industry money in a relatively short time.That could save jobs down the track.

    Adopting the above suggestions will also help address the following;

    The explanation that has gained most acceptance is that productivity has increased dramatically in “frontier firms” at the cutting edge of technological change and business innovation. The problem in Australia is that we have too few frontier firms and too many “laggard” companies. The rate of new technology adoption is too slow.[Taken from  the Conversation newsletter.]

    Eden Innovations is certainly a frontier firm, but if the rate of new tech adoption is too slow,in many cases it's because laggard firms fearing competition have and are, using illegal stock market tactics to curtail the adoption of new technology or to destroy it altogether by putting innovative firms out of business. Eden Innovations -ASX ticker code 'EDE'- has copped price manipulation for at least four years,with the aim of putting it into bankruptcy and administration. The fact it has survived is due to the utter determination of its directors to keep it going to the point, it is now on the cusp of profitability. Holcim, one of the biggest companies of its kind in the world,is now becoming a major customer.

    However,in Australia it is barely being used.Why this is the case is beyond me.It is a situation which needs rectifying.

    When I think of the concrete used in the new Western Sydney Airport....and how much greenhouse gas emission could have been saved..

    To conclude,it's my belief the government is well placed for a third term, and maybe even a fourth,if innovative firms like Eden Innovations are given strong support, creating export markets and local employment.

    Sincerely

    I hope it has a positive effect.
