I will believe it when I see action. Sorry but these studies are a dime a dozen. Politicians get to talk about them and make voters happy. How many studies have I seen that say our highways and bridges are falling apart and it is hurting economy. What has been done? Nothing. How many studies that say our power grid is falling apart and is very vulnerable to hacking that could shut down country for days. What has been done? Nothing. Both sides have lots of studies on how to stop gun violence. What has been done? Nothing. Lots of studies have been done that shows the US is losing its educational advantage. My opinion it WAS our biggest trade advantage. What has been done ? Nothing. I could go on for ever. When I see congress pass a plan that is well funded then I will take notice till then it is just the usual background noise coming out of our politicians.
I want to be wrong, that we will go back to being a country that fixes problems not talk about them, but I doubt it. The problem is not politicians but the voters, We all want to know what the country can do for us, not the other guy.
I am sorry to say that even though I recognise the problem I too worry about what is happening to my SS and Medicare.
