Thanks debono for the advice, I really appreciate it. I tend to swing trade using TA to set my targets, stops & RRR, etc, when I trade stocks.

I think the primary reason I havent done as well with indexes is that I have tended to set my stops too tight in relation to the level of volatility and I suspect that's going to be a challenge for me with FX trading - the action you describe is exactly what I've struggled with in index trading and its been frustrating.

Its interesting to hear that you have been grappling with the the objectives of making money vs having fun. For me it has to be having fun & learning first and foremost and making money is a side benefit (I dont want to lose money but its not all about making money).
