NJP with all due respect your point about electricity use in the bowling alleys is a bit alarmist.
The ETS will affect all businesses and plenty of them use allot more electricity than MLE.
With the $A plummeting against the $USD, Yen and Euro I expect demand for cheap alternatives to international travel will increase - bowling, main event, good life. And people with their boats parked at d'Albora Marinas really have few alternatives to relocate to - fuel sales and percentage rents from tenants will suffer.
MLE is very well managed, with low gearing. Guilt by association is a problem for MLE and raising funds for new capital projects or acquisitions will be a big problem. I think management may be temped to reduce the div to match the share price but reality id this company is in very good shape.
