QBE Holders are just brushing off concerns about the dollar.
Are you guys oblivious, or are you all 30 not caring what the shares do until you are 60?
No-one is giving me their thoughts on the effects of a rising AUD.
There is obviously no obligation for you guys to, but, it would be appreciated...
I have: No complaints about the entrenched management (positives and negatives). No complaints abuot long-term prospects. No complaints about dividend yield. A BIG complaint about short-term direction if AUD rises as expected, which would be troublesome as I intend to purchase these on margin.
Time in the market, v. timing the market is a great saying.
And, If I was 30 and planning to sell these at retirement, it would be applicable...
BUT, I'm 20 and want a mortgage in 2.5 years time, and this could be my first margin loan purchase.... so, timing the market is somewhat important.
