Please don't me naive enough to think that simply because a project is located on the African continent that it will fail to find funding.
Do projects only achieve funding in Australia?
How many examples do you want of African projects achieving funding and subsequent success?
Look at Nigerian gas production (Shell), Oil pipeline over the border in the DRC where the partners are Chevron and Texaco. (Not small companies I'm sure you may have heard of them!!), oh and how could we forget the Chinese IO project located a couple of hundred KM's away.
I'd suggest that before running off at the mouth you check some facts for yourself. Try Google. It's pretty comprehensive.
We all get the message that you are a passionate GBG holder and that you didn't want the merger to go ahead.
As to how will the project be funded, how do you believe that the majority of projects raise funds?
Is it possible that they raise capital in the debt markets or utilise a combination of debt and equity to achieve their funding goal? Or do you just simply believe that without GBG and it's funding (What funding?) that this project will fail?
We don't have to rely on Chinese investment as the only option so how about heading on back to the GBG thread.
You're getting predictable an quite frankly a little boring.
