You are not far off the mark. Yissum have possibly (ahem yes) been running tests on the pill due for release in July and have found improvements to apply to the pill (Refer to announcements regarding Yissum testing product). The patent will be for the improved version of the EU pill (oral) and will have the stamp of approval from Yissum ( There is no level above Yissum for R&D and patents).
I am not expecting the pill to be released in July.... IMO... But when it is it will be state of the art ( This product has to be foolproof due to previous failures from other Pharma companies).
As I have mentioned before there is a difference between a high grade corporate medical product and a street level product. A lawsuit.
PYL milestones are strategically higher than the competition as they know the consequences of what will happen with the Medical Cannabis industry.
