After hearing the pod and reading all posts I have the gut feeling that when he said he's "doing something with the stock" it's either sell or buy, but I would logically expect it's buying on behalf of a player whereby he wants to buy stock at a cheap price.
If he he recommended it as a buy as usual then his client would have to pay much more in % terms!!.
