The end of the 'iron ore world' (as some would have us believe) was post my buying into Atlas last June. Alas, the iron ore price corrected and it was as if there was no future for this popular and necessary metal. Doom and gloom was being espoused all round...sell, sell, sell, no future, yada, yada, yada....

Then...what happened? The iron ore price made a strong recovery making a fool of all the analysts who gave it the doomsday scenario (and me who sold my Atlas!!).

It's so necessary to look not at the popular 'noise' and focus on the future. Will the iron ore 'tank'? Who knows, but one thing for sure, it's not all about the short term views and predictions of analysts aiming to be the first one to be right....if they are 'wrong' they then just talk it the other way till they're 'right'..!!

As they say, Rome wasn't built in a day and I doubt they will stop building in China in a day, a month or a year from now..!!!
