IMO there is hole in the social network market that's not being filled.
People love to chat online for various reasons. There are thousands of specific forums, but any attempt at a general forum has been less than successful.
Facebook is for friends and family...
Twitter is for idiots, you're talking to yourself.
HC has unlimited potential if grown slowly in other areas such as sport or dare I say politics because that comes with baggage.
The BBC had a forum called 606 which was 5 times busier than HC....very popular. They canned it because they couldn't cope. The BBC cannot profit from advertising, if they could it would have been an immense earner.
