From a fundamental analysis point of view the difference from 2018 is shown in Technical Analysis of the money flow indicators from then and now, particularly the long term 100 Money Flow. Back in 2018 it looks like investors piled in to drive higher prices sending the short term 21 day MF positive but the 100 day MF did not follow it. You can tell by the volume chart it was an unsustainable move. The latest attempt has both long and short MF going positive for the rally on good volume until the short term MF went into distribution mode in the re trace from a near 20x move from the bottom. After such a powerful rally on fantastic and constant high volume this is to be expected and is very understandable as early investors take some well earned profit. It is possible the pull back is not finished but 4 weeks between 16-18c showed good resistance and no attempt at the gap at circa 14c.
I prefer to buy on the pullback and although the short term money flow has not gone positive it is rising again. Of course we may see more downside in coming weeks but that is crystal ball stuff and I decided that taking an initial position now was prudent.
Disruptive business models that take on obsolete and unsustainable business practices can take longer than investors like to gain that disruptive traction IMO but when they do their ability to scale cheaply can lead to those exponential gains we are looking for. I have seen this happen a few times now and prefer to be in rather than out. It does not always work out but when it does it is very satisfying and rewarding, kind of like affirmation that your thinking is correct. You only need one to set you up for life. Anyone who invested in YOJ between March and May this year saw their investment rise between 6x and near 20x to the top. If you went balls deep that can be life changing but the big gains will be after widespread adoption IMO. I like to invest long term in up trending disruptive companies and see were it leads. That strategy is working out ok so far and YOJ fits the bill. I hope that makes sense without regurgitating the business model in detail which I'm sure has been done eloquently many times before by many more knowledgeable than I.
