Just reading over the May 21st announcement again and this bit really stood out to me, see the images from the announcement above.
Estrella has to deliver a JORC resource of 500 million tonnes of limestone by September 30th.
It’s not just some goal either, it’s part of the actual agreement. If they do it, this could be massive. Even at low numbers like 10 to 20 bucks a tonne, that’s 5 to 10 billion USD worth of limestone.
It’s high grade too, mostly calcite with a bit of silica and other bits. Everything else like the scoping study (due Nov 30) and permits (due Dec 31) comes after that.
So for me all eyes on September 30th. Can Dawes and crew deliver.
