Plenty of hard hats being handed out, mozzie repellent in full use, inductions done, electrolytes flowing — all part of the price of admission just to see the rig finally turning.

Personally, if I had a seat at that table, I’d want someone to put a very specific question to Chris Daws, one that cuts right to the heart of where we are:

How exactly does ESR plan to deliver a JORC-compliant 500 million tonnes of limestone by the 30 September deadline?

What’s the actual methodology?

Is the geological model robust enough to infer large-scale volume from limited meters?
And who initiated these deadlines — was it REM applying pressure, or did ESR present the timeline as feasible?

Because while it’s clear someone wants this limestone fast, the technical lift to get a JORC resource defined in under 13,000m of drilling is significant.

No doubt Daws has a plan — he’s been around long enough to know what’s at stake. But I’d love to hear it laid out clearly.

It would go a long way in reinforcing confidence that we’re not just chasing milestones, we’re meeting them.
