If no deal becomes set in stone its just delaying the fact that as the pain starts the UK will have to go back to the EU and beg for a deal. Guess who will be holding the upper hand then.
Further I reckon you missed the bit where Abbott is recommending that people from the EU should be allowed to enter freely into the UK to work. That is actually the main reason you Aussie lol brexiters want a brexit so as to keep the dastardly EU people who terrify you out lol!

The UK is as much a social democracy as EU countries and given the turmoil within the conservative camp it will likely be Labour winning the next UK election.
