    I think it is pretty clear that the bid is failing. I might have said it is drifting but WNI in the past just warehoused stock until the "right" moment. That must have passed by now. The press is on your side. You are many in number and in %. You have made it clear that you won't accept the present price. WNI have no option other than to mop up. The new CEO is unlikely to be a lapdog, as he could get a similar position anywhere. The assets are increasing in value. Time is not on WNI's side, as whoever put in the money will want a return, even if it is a SOE. A return could be offtake but there won't be any offtake without a mine and I cannot see the WA Premier agreeing to an SOE workforce now that the ALP are focussed on the "doing it tough" issue faced by most WA families. And I think the possibility of any major doing a deal with whoever is behind WNI is nil. So the only thing I can see eventuating is an increased offer.
